Providing information and promoting the Rebuilding of Tohoku...
At 2:46pm on March 11th, 2011 a magnitude 9 earthquake occurred off the Sanriku Coastline in Northeastern Japan creating a tsunami of epic proportion that left massive damage to three prefectures: Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima.
The earthquake brought a black wave that became the largest tsunami of modern times swallowing up and destroying costal cities and taking with it many of their citizens and buildings. In an instant these towns and cities were turned into desolate areas of crushed cars, flooded farms and endless piles of mud and debris.
In addition to the coastal devastation the tsunami ignited a nuclear crisis at the Fukushima Dai-Ichi Nuclear Power Plant operated and owned by the now infamous Tokyo Electric Power Company, or better known as TEPCO.
It was a phenomenon that can neither be called natural or man-made that has never been experienced before in Eastern Japan. The pain and suffering of the those who sacrificed so much can never be forgotten.
From that day the world must understand how these three prefectures, the rest of Tohoku and all of Japan will move forward and how they will change to rebuild themselves into even stronger and more advanced country.
The mission of this website is to clearly communicate these changes and assure the world has access to this information
